SYNOPSIS:
Captain Jennings, abandoned by his crew, must protect the wealthy Prescots from Captain Bree's lady pirates with a ragtag group of prisoners and a sailor who can't swim. Amidst the chaos, characters like Professor Bidwell and Madam Prescot vie for respect, while Julia Prescot dreams of joining the pirates. The pirates take over the ship, auction off prisoners, and teach Julia pirating. The situation escalates when a British fleet arrives to hang the pirates, and Madam Prescot and Bidwell want Captain Jennings punished for his failure. The story is a swashbuckling musical comedy filled with hysterical characters and a lively score.
